TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SERVICES

1. Agreement

By engaging the services of Chester Plumbing Co., you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms and conditions may be subject to change without prior notice.

2. Services

Chester Plumbing Co. agrees to provide plumbing services in accordance with Australian plumbing standards. The scope of work, including parts and labor combined, will be detailed in a written agreement between the parties.

3. Quotes and Invoices

All quotes provided by Chester Plumbing Co. are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise specified. Invoices will be issued upon completion of the agreed-upon services, and payment for all general maintenance work is due upon completion or within 14 days of the invoice date for all other projects.

4. Payment

Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, cash or cheque. A late payment fee of 20% may be applied to overdue invoices. Chester Plumbing Co. reserves the right to withhold services and pursue legal action to recover unpaid amounts.

5. Warranty

Chester Plumbing Co. provides a warranty on workmanship for a period of 12 months from the completion date. This warranty covers defects resulting from improper workmanship and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external factors.

6. Liability

Chester Plumbing Co. is not liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising out of the provision of services. The total liability of Chester Plumbing Co. for any claim is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the services.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material term or condition of the agreement. Chester Plumbing Co. reserves the right to terminate services for non-payment.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Queensland, Australia.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commision).

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential all information received from the other party during the course of providing services.

By engaging Chester Plumbing Co.’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
